Shadow of Danger
A story of a Slum Girl!
The lanes are tight, suffocating. Pooja clutches the empty water canister, her eyes fixed on the ground, stepping over puddles of filth. She feels their stares—the men leaning against cracked walls, their whispers slicing the air as she passes.
Her heart pounds. The walk to the water pump is only a few minutes, but it feels like hours. At home, her mother’s words echo: “Keep your head down. Be invisible.” But no amount of invisibility can hide her from the hungry eyes that follow her every move.
The world tells her to stay silent, to survive. But how long can she live in a place where safety is just a dream?
Pooja deserves more than shadows and fear. She deserves freedom. She deserves dignity.

End Violence Against Women

It’s Not Just Physical
For the women around me, this is not just a cause—it’s my personal mission.
Through Lakshya Jeevan Jagriti, I’ve met women who have endured pain that goes beyond the visible. They’ve been silenced, dismissed, and controlled, yet they’ve fought to reclaim their dignity and dreams. Their courage fuels my purpose every single day.
Violence is not just physical.
It’s the words that chip away at their confidence.
The silence that leaves them isolated.
The control that takes away their freedom.
The neglect that makes them feel invisible.
This mission is deeply personal to me because I’ve seen what happens when society looks away. I’ve felt the weight of those stories, and I’ve made a promise—to myself and to them—that I will not look away.
Every woman deserves to live without fear, without shame, and with the freedom to shape her own destiny. This is why I do what I do. Not just for change, but for transformation—for a future where every woman is safe, valued, and empowered.
To the women around me: You are my strength, my inspiration, and my reason to keep going. Together, we will break the silence. Together, we will end the violence.
