Bhawna, one of our students in the Youth Empowerment Program, completed her high school education and joined a 4-month job training program with us. When she shared her dream with her family to join the police force, she was scolded by her mother. Coming from a underprivilege family her mother always wanted her to marry after her high school, she almost gave up on her dream. 

When she joins Lakshya and shared about her dream, she was appreciated in front of class that gave her confidence and determination. She requested the faculty to make her learn English and give her confidence so that she can pass the interview and exam. 

She learned a lot every day through our training and interactions with our faculties and team. She gave her 100 percent and finally one day she sent us this picture of her thanking all of her teachers to give her courage and support. 

The training supported Bhawna to achieve her dream to be a part of the Delhi civil defense.
