Lakshya Jeevan Jagriti
“Why are you choosing this?” someone asked me today.
For a moment, I searched for an answerโsomething logical, something that made sense. But then, a thought hit me like a wave. Why do I need to justify it? Sometimes, the only answer that truly matters is:
“Because this is what I want.”
And that, in itself, is enough.
But todayโs realization isnโt just about choices. Itโs about something far more personal.
I still remember the first day I walked into Lakshya Jeevan Jagriti. I was just an intern, full of curiosity but also a little unsure. I thought I was here to learn, contribute, and move on. That was the plan. But life had something else in store for me.
I didnโt just find an organization.
I found a family.
I remember sitting in that first meeting, listening to storiesโreal stories, raw and powerful. I looked around and saw not just colleagues, but people who genuinely cared. People who saw potential where others saw limits. People who didnโt just talk about changeโthey became the change.
One day, a mentor looked me in the eye and said, “You belong here.”
Not “You can work here.” Not “You have potential.” But “You belong.”
Those words changed everything.
Lakshya is not just a place where dreams are spoken aboutโitโs where they are built. Itโs where you are heard without judgment, where failures arenโt the end but stepping stones, where no one is left behind. Itโs a space where girls who were once silenced find their voices, where students who doubted themselves become leaders, where fear is replaced with belief.
And the mentors? They donโt just teach. They see you. They push you beyond your doubts. They remind you of your own strength when youโve forgotten it.
Today, as I reflect on this journey, I realizeโI am not just an intern.
I am a part of something far greater. I am Lakshya.
And for that, I am endlessly grateful.
Thank you, mentors, for believing in me before I believed in myself.
